Storage of pig starter diets and protein quality

Keeping the feed fresh is an old but frequently ignored advice. Protein and lipid contents of starter feeds are not fixed once the feed is made. Correct storage is vital, otherwise chemistry will rapidly take over, causing deterioration of quality by rendering nutrients indigestible.
