Schaumann has taken pole position in the DLG Image Barometer Livestock Breeding Resources category for the 14th time. With a total score of 93.5 out of 100, this was Schaumann's third best result in the 16 years of the Image Barometer.
Schaumann received the most additional mentions as a particularly innovative company, beating its rivals to the top position by a long margin. This underlines Schaumann’s position among German farmers as the image leader in the animal nutrition/livestock breeding resources sector.
“This result endorses the Schaumann concept, with our effective feeding programmes, our
consistent quality policy and our expert advisory services,” says CEO Dr. Hermann Pricker, commenting on Schaumann’s ratings by farmers and its leading position in the German feedstuffs market.
Marking the publication of the Image Barometer, DLG Senior Consultant Hans-Georg
Burger said: “Schaumann has moved beyond feed into silage enhancers and feed hygiene, and several years ago set up a subsidiary to expand its experience in substrate preparation for the biogas sector to include fermenter biology. And these efforts have won it widespread appreciation among professional livestock breeders.”
The Image Barometer is an annual survey held among Germany’s leading farmers organised by the DLG. This year nearly 300 professionals were asked which companies in the agricultural technology, livestock breeding technology and resources, plant protection and seed, services and bioenergy sectors they rate most highly and view as particularly innovative.
