The period from just before farrowing until piglets are weaned is one of the most labour intensive periods of pork production. Here, we provide some tips to refresh and sharpen skills, with information based on the 'Farrowing Management' training curriculum recently developed with the support of the National Pork Producers Council, Des Moines, Iowa.
